The concept sculpture
When the Loewe publishing house approached me to create the cover for Derek Landy’s Demon Road book series it was important to create the main character Amber in her demon form. Since she was the main eye catcher for each cover it was best to create her as a 3d concept sculpture.
The covers
For each of the 3 books a wraparound cover had to be created. Each one should give an insight into the world and the current situation of Amber. Also it was important to show how she continues to evolve as a demon and makes her way to a fiery finale.
